| Track 1 | The Only Love I rarely write about others. This is one of the few tunes I wrote about a friend. Although it might sound critical, it's not meant to be. It does ask pointed questions and offers advice. And all the while, I was asking myself the same questions and hoping I could follow the same advice: don't neglect the only relationship that really matters - the relationship with yourself. The "only love" is the love of oneself, without which we are incomplete and cannot fully give of ourselves because we feel somehow inadequate or undeserving to be loved in return. |
