Track 1 >The Weight of Words

Words are weightless and yet can carry weight. They change within contexts and often contain subtexts. These abstractions possess no mass, no inherent energy, yet are instruments of war and peace, love and hate, and everything in between.

The concept for the song came to me at a time when I was quite happy with my life, yet I was able to access feelings of pain and loss that I had experienced. Rarely have I laughed and cried at the same time; this was one such occasion. The song wasn't written with an album in mind but when the project was born, there was no question that this would be the title cut.
